Can they cancel your visa if you choose to leave them for another company or simply quit your job?

only the HO can alter or cancel your leave but if as a Tier 2 migrant you quit your job or the company stops sponsoring you for whatever reason they have to report it to the HO.

Yes you can apply and find another job, in that case your new employer need to apply for a sponsorship license for you and do your visa again.

You will need to make sure that the new employer has the sponsor license so that he could issue you a certificate.

You just cannot switch a job with out your employer issuing you a sponsorship certificate.

And yes your existing employer can revoke the job or certificate.

So say you find a new job, you notify your old employer and give them 1 month notification period as per your contract.

Can your old employer revoke your Tier2 in this period?

Are you required to transfer your tier2 to the new employer before you can start working for them? How can you do this while you still have a probation period to undergo with the new employer?

Also when moving to a new job/employer under Tier2, does the new employer need to do the Residence Labour Market Test, or are you already exempt?
