New service standards for applications made in UK

Post by haski22 » Wed Jan 15, 2014 5:36 pm

Dear,

UKBA has published waiting time for a visa, I am a Croat and need to apply for a student yellow certificate.

Do they think that everything will be resolved in six months or after six months?

Thanks

I saw the link. The UK can and does restrict access to the job market for the new member state, Croatia. The UK is meant to provide Croatian nationals with at least the same access to the job-market as non-EU nationals.

For students and self-sufficient persons, the UK must issue a residence certificate immediately. The UK does not make applying for such documentation mandatary.

The compilation is that students are allowed to work while studying, but need to be able to demonstrate this to employers. Again, EU nationals should be treated with at least the same advantages as non-EU national students.
