schengen visa for Indian working in Uk on short term

Hi,

Am on ICT - SHort Term Visa working in UK.
Am in UK since May 2013.
My Visa expires in April 2014.
Am planning to visit paris (& some tourist places) for a short time (3 to 5 days).

Do I need to apply for schengen visa?

Can I apply in London? or can I apply only from India?

My main doubt is, in a visa website I read as if there is less than 3 months of visa post my planned exit from schengen country, my visa may not be approved.

As my visa expires by April, am I eligible to apply?

You will require a visa. They will expect you to apply in your country of residence.

Hello

Yes you will need schengan visa to visit Europe, you can apply for it from vfs global in UK.

Your UK residence must be valid for a minimum of three months on the date you apply the visa. So if you apply within the next 10 days you will get one (given that your visa ends in end of April). Just make sure you have all the supporting documents with you which is mentioned on their website.

I applied schengan visa from vfs Manchester and they checked the validity of my UK workpermit.
