Lost ILR brp. Mandate to apply for replacement?

I have lost my ILR brp card while in India. As per UKBA if you loose your brp card, apply for replacement within 28 days of returning to UK.

Since I am applying for naturalisation through NCS this week. Do I still have to apply for brp replacement card? Please suggest.

As per ukba if you don't apply with in 28 days' u can be fined upto 1000 gbp.

Is there any contact number where I can call to get the clarity from brp card team.

I have applied for naturalisation through NCS today. Lady checked on lost brp replacement mandate with the naturalisation team but they said it needs to be checked with immigration department if i need to apply for replacement brp.

Any thoughts?

Hi, I was wondering how did it go? My partner is in the same situation and we are planning on him applying for naturalisation and see what the people at NCS say.

I would be grateful if you could share what happened in your case in the end.
