I have sent my child's first passport application today via post office check and send service. Because I am on ILR status with a foreign passport, the lady at the post office told me to write my passport and BRP numbers on the section 8 (other information) of the application form. I wrote the passport numbers on each box but BRP numbers I had to write (2 numbers in 1 box) because of space shortage. The lady was concerned about it and she asked her colleague next to her who said it should be fine as this is section 8 used for other information.
Secondly, I added a separate sheet stating grandparents details of the child (since both parents were born overseas) and a cover letter listing all the docs that I have enclosed with the application. I signed the cover letter but forgot to sign the separate sheet which contains the grandparents details. Later I saw on the guidance that the separate sheet must be signed.
I am a bit worried about these two issues. I would really appreciate if senior members please advice me on this.
