elligiblity for benefits?

Post by 1980fk » Wed Jan 29, 2014 11:24 pm

Hi

Please advise me if I am eligible for any benefits.

My Husband is working full time and we already claim tax credits and get some bit of help towards housing allowance.
We have 2 kids, age 1 and 3. I was working part time before my 2nd baby. but due to maternity and then taking care of kids i no longer work for the past 15 months and stay home to look after the kids
I may not be able to work for another few months. Please advise if i can apply for any benefits (we are all british citizens)

Kind Regards

Amber

Inform the HMRC and local authority about the change in income and see if you can extra benefit. I assume neither of you are subject to immigration control.
