maintenance requirement FLR(M) inside UK pre 8 July 2012

Hi,

Anyone knows whats the maintenance requirement for partner (FLR M) applying within UK and first entry before 8 July 2012 so old rules applies. Secondly whats the bank statement requirement and should it cover 3 or 6 months? Many thanks.

I just learned that because I've for many years been claiming an industrial injuries benefit, I might be able to get my fiancee from OUTSIDE the EU (in Moldova) into the UK on a marriage visa at a (presumably) reduced financial requirement rate. This is the "adequate maintenance" rate. But what is this rate please? Is there an easy calculation of this rate?

You need to have been claiming the VERY specific benefits listed here:

* Carer’s Allowance.
• Disability Living Allowance.
• Severe Disablement Allowance.
• Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit.
• Attendance Allowance.
• Personal Independence Payment.
• Armed Forces Independence Payment or Guaranteed Income Payment under the
Armed Forces Compensation Scheme.
• Constant Attendance Allowance, Mobility Supplement or War Disablement Pension
under the War Pensions Scheme.

Claiming anything similar won't allow you to qualify.

I have for many years been claiming the REDUCED EARNINGS ALLOWANCE. This is on a list of Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefits at the website of the Department for Work and Pensions.

Two different things - and reduced earnings allowance doesn't qualify you.

I'm only half way down the document and it is COMPLICATED! Man, you need a maths degree to understand. Is this actually supposed to make it a bit easier for those on these benefits? Frankly, they will have to hire an immigration lawyers to make sense of it. Am I missing something?

It comes under this category of benefit (accident at work)(attached). My REA paperwork labels it as part of the Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefits category, and the Department for Work and Pensions website includes the REA as an Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit. It's no. 8 on the list. The report is "Guidance Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefits: Technical Guidance," if you want to check.

I have also question regarding section 5.1, My set LR application is being processed and want to apply FLR M for wife before april 2014. Can you please advise should I submit 3 months payslips and bank statements or 6 months.

Q 1. I am working full time for one employer for last 2 years, and for second one as part time since last 4 months.
Q 2. in either case 3 months or 6 months, How home office will assess my monthly income? Will they get average or they will choose the payslip which has got lowest net figure?

Q 3. My wife is self employed (Sole Trader) If I show her earnings then what documents do we need to produce please.
