Very Urgent - Cohabitation Docs

Post by jilpangs » Mon Feb 10, 2014 6:30 pm

Hi,

My spouse completed 3 years in UK in last 5 years but not continuously. As per her last entry she is here in UK since Sep 2012.
I got a suggestion from this forum it should be fine though my wife haven't completed 2 years continuously. So im planning to
give it a try. Will following Cohabitation docs is enough?

a) Council Tax Bills on both of our names for the years 2010/11, 2011/12, 2012/13, 2013/14. This covers 2 years
b) Rental agreement from Jan 2013 to till date. on both our names. <This doesn't cover 2 years though>
c) NHS Medical Card. We registered in Sep 2012. So we received 3 individual cards. <This doesn't cover 2 years though>
d) Recently (Jan 2014) we received a letter from Electoral Dept. 2 individual letters on each of our names. <This doesn't cover 2 years though>

e) 2 years bank statement of my wife (not a joint account only on her name).

Rest all utility bills etc are in my name for past 5 years, so no point in changing it to my spouse name now.

So above document is enough to get through? Or is it too risky to apply ILR for my spouse now?

Thanks Pinkpop.

Yes we have our daughter's birth certificate + our marriage certificate. Are these also supports for Cohab?

I attach some nhs discharge letters as well. if you are living on same address attach your previous bills and recent wife name documents will cover required time.don't worry

Thanks.

Problem would be the time. If i flip the utility bills on to my spouse name now, it might take some more time to generate a bill (provider cant generate a bill straight away). Our appointment would be between 24-Feb & 01-Mar.

Without those do you see a problem?

I can't see any problems without them. Another document is the ho letters from your extension.
