Child Passport Requirements

Post by fahsag » Thu Feb 13, 2014 2:22 pm

Hi All,

Apologies if this is already asked here but any help would be greatly apprecitated.

I have indefinite leave to remain and have recently been blessed with a baby girl. I have registered her and got the birth certificate. Now to apply for her passport I went to the post office and asked what documents they need but they were unsure.

So my question is do I need to send my origional Passport and also the BRP card showing the ILR along with the birth certificate or copies of passport and BRP should be fine? Also, do I need to send anything from the mother?

thanks
fahad

Great - Thanks for the help. From what I understand, I do need to send my original passport and BRP card with the application.

The only question that remains is do I need to send anything from the mother? I was reading a post here and someone mentioned authority letter from the mother. is that correct?

thanks
