processing time_non-acquisition of British citizenship

Post by hmm » Fri Feb 14, 2014 10:19 am

Hi All,
Has any body applied for non-acquisition of British citizenship recently? If so, how long did you have to wait to get the confirmation letter?

We applied about 3 weeks ago, received the acknowledgement last week, the payment has been taken off the bank too but haven't received the confirmation letter. UKBA website says 2 weeks. It is not true in our case.

Can we contact them? If so, on what number?

Thanks for your replies.

It came today. Hurray!
12 days after the payment was taken.
Off to apply for a new passport now.

Hi mate, I'm new to this so hope you don't mind me asking a silly question. Did you get a letter from HO or just the form signed and stamped.
Thanks

Hi, I am glad that OP finally got the letter.

But I am wondering the same question that Info121 asked, that is, did HO issue a new certificate or just sign and stamp the original filled form?

Info121 asked this question long ago, but it did not receive any answer.

Thanks.
