Dependant 2 year rule

Post by leon92 » Sat Feb 15, 2014 9:06 pm

Hi,

My wife got her Tier 1 General Dependant visa in June 2012 so she needs to wait 2 years (June 14) before ILR application.

Also her visa expires end of April 14.

Before June 12, for 1-2 years, she was in the UK in a different immigration category and we were in a relationship which I can prove.

My question is that can I also count the period where she was not my dependant but we were still in relationship so she can apply for ILR before June 14?

Perhaps if you can prove the relationship.
