Work permit entry clearance processing times Canberra

Hello,

I applied online for Entry clearance on the 12 of May and then posted my documents- when they finally arrived on Tuesday. They were received in Canberra on Wednesday. Does anyone have any idea of the current average processing time for entry clearance in Canberra? I know it's ambitious but I'd like to be able to fly out on Wednesday night!! Is this completely unrealistic? I'm in Melbourne. Any help much appreciated!

If you had applied online and spent the $99 each way to fly to Canberra and hand in your documents in person you would probably have got it the same day. My Wife did a couple of years ago.

It says on the BHC website that applications are taking 3-4 weeks, although that probably starts from yuor online application date.
