PBS dependent new requirments

hi could someone can clarify English level requirement of PBS dependent ? if PBS dependent is coming(applying) from back home first time in UK do they need to have any specfic level of English(e.g A1) OR is this requirement is for ILR dependents only? many thanks

Hi ,

Its depends which Category dependent will be coming .
I am on Tier 1 General and my wife came last year in September 2013 as Tier 1 (General) dependent she doen't need any english Language Test
Not sure about Category

thanks for your reply. I am on Tier 1 (Entrepreneur). Some friends are saying that my dependent need English A1 and some are saying they dont need any. Can anyone post me link to some source? many thanks
