Tier 2 - losing job

Hi,

I have been told by my employer that I am being made redundant. I will be served a 30 day notice next week. I am actively looking to switch jobs and get a Tier 2 sponsor. I have some questions and would like your advice please.

Does UKBA allot me some time to stay in UK If I lose my current job ?
If yes then how many days and from what date?
i.e will it be from last working day with current employer?

Read before you post, this question has been answered many times on this forum.
At some point you will receive a letter from ukba to curtail your leave. In theory it's 60 days from when your sponsor informs them online. No one can tell you precisely when, all you can do is keep looking for a new sponsor until that letter arrives.
