Tier 2 Extension - ? Market Test

Hi,

I have been working under Tier 2 General since Sep 13 which expires in Aug 2014.
I would like to extend my Tier 2 visa for another year (same job, same employer) and have a few Q's:

1. I understand my employer does not need to conduct resident labour market test again if it was done originally for my current visa. However, my employer never had do conduct the test as I was exempt (switching from tier 4 to 2). Does this mean my employer has to conduct one this time or do they not have to worry about the test as this is an extension?

2. Does my employer need to give me an unrestricted or restricted CoS ?

1/ No market test is needed for extension from what I've learnt from UKBA web
2/ You require Employer unrestricted CoS - read para 200 and onwards in the Tier 2 policy guidance: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... idance.pdf

apart from that you need passport, photo, bank statements and payslips,
