TRAVELLING ON LAST MONTH ON TEIR 2

Hi,

I work as a doctor in uk on teir 2 visa, my visa is expiring on 15th september 2014. HR manager says i can apply for visa extension only in last 6 wks of my present visa that is only after ist august 2014. I want to go on vacation in last week of july to 3rd week of august and on return i will apply for extension. Is it ok for me to travel in last 6 wks of my visa and return at least 3 wks before expiry .

You can can enter the uk so long as your visa has not expired. Not every body applies for extension, if you plan to, fair enough. This will have no impact on entering the uk.
