Dependent Maintenance by main applicant

Post by ishfaqsangra » Thu Apr 03, 2014 12:09 am

I am in UK for more than 4 years.Just got my Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa today. My dependents (my wife and two kids) are going to apply from Pakistan.
maintenance required is(£600x3=1800)

I have maintained £1800 for more than 4 months in my account but I used this account for my maintenence of £900 earlier as well.
Now I have received my visa. Can I use this account or a letter from the Bank that I have maintained £1800 for more than 3 months to be used with my dependent application.
I am confused a bit because if the application was together than maintenance should have been £2700.
But I applied mine first with £1800 maintenance thinking that I will use for my dependents later.
As per guidance for dependents they can not use the same funds which Tier 1 Enterprenuer used is confusing me as I have shown them already before my application and now application is decided.
Rizwan bro through some light as You have applied for your dependent
Do I need to still show mine as I got visa today.

I think you can use this statement for your dependent. Also you dependent visa will go to ABU DHABI to some case worker. i also suggest you to consult some solicitor as you need to pay heavy fee for dependent visa.

I am not an expert but i think you cannot use the funds already used for your application. Same Account, Same Period and same funds will definitely raise a red flag.

Your dependents application will be decided in Islamabad.

Best of luck and do post update on your dependents application on this forum.
Always help others..... it always come back to you.
Even if i know the answer ... i have this habit of confirming from others..
