Switzerland

Hi Guys,

Somebody told me that you do not need visa to go to Switzerland (for tour purposes) if you are on Tier-1 visa? Is that correct?

Th guy tells me that he has been to Switzerland himself on Tier-1 visa.

It sounds a bit dodgy to me and could not find any information on internet even. Anybody?

Since Switzerland became part of Schengen a few years back if you aren't an EU citizen you need a Schengen visa...
An chéad stad eile Stáisiún Uí Chonghaile....

that was in 2008 ... u need a schengen visa now ..!

It also depends on the nationality of the person who is travelling to Switzerland. Not all non-eu passport holders need a Schengen visa.

This was true untill 12 Dec 2008. Since then no!
