Question 7.11 of set (o)

Hi, my query is about question 7.11 of set (0) form. It says "how long have you lived in the UK?". Does this question refer to the overall time spent in the UK? (Like student visa+PSW+tier 1 etc )? Or does this question refer to the time spent in the UK in the last five years on tier 1 general? Plz advise.. I have spent an overall time of about eight years in the UK, but my most recent visa was tier 1 general which I got in October 2009. Thanks
