Employment status at the time of ILR application

Hi,

I am currently on Tier 1 (General) and planning to apply for ILR in Sept 2014.

I would meet the points criteria and be able to show 12 months payslips in the 15 months period prior to application and P60 forms for the last 4 years. However, I am not sure if I would be employed on the date when I apply for ILR.

Does anyone know if it very important to be employed on the date when submitting the ILR application either through postal route or PEO ?

I think its enough as long as you have enough points for your earnings, there is no such question in the application , are you working at the moment or not?
However, lets wait for one of the senior member to comment.

Actually there are a couple of questions on the SET (O) application form under the 'Your Home And Finances' section :

1. Are you working in the UK?
2. If so, what is your pay each
month after income tax and
other deductions?

This is the reason I am worried.

Tier1 general to ILR case. I will go for premium appointment for ILR application, and meet all points for ILR.
