New FCO visa website - absolute SH**TE!!!!

Hi guys,

What do you all think about the new https://www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk/home/index site?

Who on earth designs these stuff, I wish I can meet these people face to face....

Anyway... quick queston...

Can applicant lie about nationality (yes you heard me right)??

Here's the story if anyone's interested:
After filling in the form and next stage to book appointment, the only option to book an appointment is in the country of NATIONALITY, but the country of RESIDENCE is different. If Joe Blogg is born in Canada, and lives and works in Australia with valid work visa, so he's suppose to travel all the way back to Canada for an interview and submit docs????

and another rant: have you seen the extornate amount you pay just to call or have a live chat?????

yes...you are right ...the fco site and the new process....terrible..

we can't get the status of the application....online..we need to call...and need to enter debit or credit card details to know the status by paying around £1.37 per mint....... ohh god....and for live chat £4 ....
