When my spouse can apply for ILR & British Citizenship

Hi All,

I got my ILR in Dec 2012 and then my UK Citizenship in March 2014.

Me and my wife are married since Sep 2011 (2.5 years), below is my wife’s visa history:
Oct 2011 – Came to UK by her own Work Permit
Dec 2012 – Converted her work permit to my Dependent visa of a settled person granted for 2.5 years valid until June 2015…

Now I just wanted to check when my wife can apply for ILR & British Citizenship

Any advice will be appreciated.

For ILR she will need 5 years as a spouse, another extension of FLR(M) will be required followed at the 5 year point (from 28 days before) with SET(M).

She'll more than likely be eligible to naturalise under section 6(2) BNA 1981 as soon as ILR is granted.
