Short stay visa required -current UK visa valid for 2 months

Hi All,

I am an Indian currently living in UK with having a visa valid till 26-Jun-2014, I need to go to Ireland (if possible) on 29th May and attend a training for 7 days.

Planning to apply for a short-stay(7 days) visa on business purpose and my employer operates in UK and Ireland, until I spotted the below statement on every short-stay visa requirements:

If you are resident in a country other than your country of origin, evidence of your permission to reside in that country. This permission should be valid for at least 3 months after your intended departure from Ireland - but I will only have 15 days

Does this mean my application will be rejected? can experts confirm please.....

I cannot confirm if the application will be refused or not, but I can confirm you would not have met all the requirements for a short stay visa.
