Tier 2 Sponsor visa to Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa

Dear All,

I work as IT consultant in a company, I was on PSW and 6 month ago I switched to Tier 2 sponsor visa. Now my contract is in bit doubt to extend.
I am planning to move to tier 1 Entrepreneur, my question is,
1. Is that possible to switch from Tier 2 sponsor visa to Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa?
2. If it is possible what rout I have to follow 50K or 200K.

Please assist, if there is any reference from home office will really be appreciated.

As per the UKBA guidance document a Tier2 person can switch into Tier1 Entrepreneur either with GBP200K of own money of GBP50K from a venture capital firm.
