ILR Query

Hi there,

I have a query regarding ILR eligibility.

Post my Post Study Work(PSW) I have applied Tier 1 Gnerenal and here are my details below.

Tier1 General -18 Feb 2011-18 Feb 2013.

For the Second Extension, I have gone through PEO and the second exention was issued on the date I had an appointment i.e

02 Jan 2013-02 Jan 2016 but not until 18 Feb 2016.

Could you please confirm whether I can apply for an ILR or do I need another extension?

Hi,

Your 5 years complete on 17th Feb 2016.

You can apply for ILR 28 days in advance i.e. 20th Jan 2016.

Understand that its just 2 days, but it would be a risk you would not want to take in 2016 (extentions would not be allowed after 2015).

My suggestion - take an early renewal (not wait until April-2015).

During my interview at PEO, Caseworker confirmed to me that I can apply for ILR rather than an extension. I just thought that time my extension would be until 18 Feb 2016. But my Bio metric card was received with extension upto 02 Jan 2016(same date I applied 02 Jan 2013 for my extension but not until 18 Feb 2016).

Can anyone please advise?
