Which English Language test for Spouse Visa

Hi,

My wife is currently doing her City & Guilds (Cat A1) English language test for our spouse visa application which will be submitted as soon as she has her results.

I'm wandering if anyone could help me and tell me whether they accept this test or not?
Also, what would we need to provide to show proof of the English Language test?

Attendance sheet?
Test results?
Score card?
Certificate?

If someone could please shed some light on this issue I would be very thankful!
