Bulgarian Residence Permit

Greetings, I am a Mexican citizen who has been living in Bulgaria for the past 6 years. I have been recently granted a Bulgarian permanent resident permit (indefinite status but validity of card is dependant on Mexican Passport validity).

My questions:

1. What rights does Bulgarian permanent resident permit give me?

2. Am I allowed to work and reside in any EU country including the UK?

So basically, at present if I were to visit the UK. I would be considered a tourist, despite the fact that I have a Bulgarian residency. Am I correct in this assumption?

you can only work in country you have residence permit ,you will not be allowed in any other country to work.
