visitor visa for hsmp holder

I am an Indian and have been in UK as student for more than 4 years now and recently got my HSMP. Also working part time for a Retail Store for last 4 years. I am working part time since I am using rest of my time looking for full time job. I wish to apply for visitor visa for canada to meet my friend there who is a permanent resident. Will there be any problem is such a situation showing ties to this country. Please help!
