Conviction and ILR

Post by ssidd » Fri May 09, 2014 7:10 pm

Hello,

I got 6 points and 300 pounds fine on 20th June 2012 from court. My ILR is due since last june but I was waiting for 24 months period. I am planning to book PEO appointment, my question is,

Can I apply ILR on 21st June 2014 OR I need to wait an other week?

Gurus kindly reply me as I need to book appointment!!!

Thanks
SIDD

Usually such traffic convictions don't usually cause a refusal even though they should be a mandatory one. I suggest however, you wait until 24 months has lapsed from the date of conviction.

You should be fine at a PEO if 24 months have lapsed.

You should wait 24 months if you choose to apply before, you may be refused, you must declare convictions.
