Starting an online business

Hello Everyone,

I have a Tier2 visa, and I would like to ask if it is possible to start an online business (Website)? The online business might not generate more than 5,000 pounds profit in the first year. This endeavour might even incur a net loss in the first 1 or 2 years. There won't be other employees, just me running the website. Can I do that? If yes, is there a threshold for the profit generated? I want to undertake this as a hobby for the time being.

No you can't, u can only work via PAYE as an employee
