HSMP Dependant VISA for family - Best Process

Post by feb_hsmp » Mon Jun 18, 2007 6:42 am

Hi Friends,
Pleas help me to understand the best process for family dependant HSMP VISA/EC. I have some queries.
1) In April 07, I received my HSMP VISA/EC on my passport. I am travelling UK in July first week.
2) I will be in searching mode for a UK job in month of July. Probably will get my job in July / August.
3) I am thinking of doing my families HSMP dependant VISA after getting a decent job in UK. Will this be a correct decision ? this is the main question in my mind.
4) OR should i get the VISAs for family before leaving to UK.
I have a friend who gave me UK accomodation proof during my EC process.

hi,
Have u got ur EC stamped? If not, then better apply for EC along with ur family. Saw in one thread that they refused EC since the applicant had a valid (?!!!) family in India who were not seeking EC which meant that the guy was not intended to make UK as his home! If u have already got EC, then u can apply later also. However, not sure if that would delay their Settlement process.

Thanks!

Hi malar1973,
Already I got my EC stamped. Its ok with me .... if settlement process gets delayed by few months for family.
Thanx,
