EC Experience

Hi,

Just sharing my experience of EC.
I had applied for EC on 26 July.
On 27th, my name was not present on the list of people for interview.
After 2 days frantic calls, I was told that I have to go for medical.
On 2rd August, I got letter from High Commision to go for medical
and x-ray.
Went for medical results on 4th August and got approval on 11th August.

Medicals for HSMP-EC? Never heard of it ?

Yes even i have not heard of medical for EC.
But when a person enters UK, the authorities at the airport ask for a Chest X Ray. You can either bring it with you from your home country, signed by a doctor, or if you dont have it you have to have an X Ray at the airport itself.

Dear from Which country u applied for EC?

Hi,
I applied in India, British High Commision, New Delhi.

They have given me X Ray report and X Ray and said that I should carry these along when I go to UK.
