Proposed start date delayed

Post by ppmm500 » Tue May 13, 2014 10:48 am

After submitting my application for Tier 2 General visa, my employer informed me that my proposed start date (26 May2014) would be delayed by more than a month due to some delay in the project. I got approved for my Tier 2 general visa yesterday (Valid from 21 May 2014). My employer would be informing me about my new start date end of next week and would be informing about the change in circumstances to home office via SMS. What happens if for any reason my start date is delayed by more than a month? Does the situation comply with all the rules?

Its ok. What you could do is carry with u a copy of emails from employer notifying u the delay of start dates and new dates, as you may get asked by immigration officer at airport.
