Post by aakkoo » Wed May 14, 2014 7:24 pm

What is the easiest way to migrate from US to UK. A family with two kids want to move to UK.

Will really appreciate advice from all.

Thanks

Presumably without UK or EU citizenship or ancestry?

You'd need a good degree and/or hard to find skill and an employer willing to sponsor you for a job that cannot be filled locally. That or a student visa and study here and move to a work permit later, but budget megabucks, like $50,000.....

There's also the Entrepreneur route, for which you'd need £200,000 or I think there's still the Investor route, £1m.

As you have already been through the PBS visa route applications etc, you would probably already know what the basic requirements and also know that there is no easy way to migrate to the UK.

If you are asking advise on behalf of someone else, you should state that at the start of your thread to avoid confusion as it comes across as if you are wanting to migrate.

Yes i am aware of PBS route, thats why i wanted to know some other route that i was not aware of. There was nothing to be confused about, i asked a simple question to help some one out.

I will prefer the country in neighborhood (Canada) than UK.
