Tier 2 visa - contract work

Post by aus007 » Fri May 16, 2014 11:58 am

Currently I am on Tier 4 psw visa . I am looking for a sponsor preferable with Tier 2 Sponsorship , basically I would prefer to do contract work rather than working for 1 employer permanently .Does any one know what kind of Sponsorship I need, Can I be on Tier 2 General and my Tier 2 sponsor can issue a statement that I can work for other Employer as they currently do not have any work for me ? or what are other Options available ?

Hi,

On 14/08/2009 cam as a student and completed my MSc and extended my PSW started contracting after couple of months once my PSW was going to expire, I have approached a umbrella company and requested to offer me sponsorship and was continuing same contract.
But some issues in top management in the company and they have cancelled all contracting positions in the organisation,
so now it's hard to find a contract position being on TIER 2 visa, So MY SERIOUS PROBLEM IS like I am planning to cancel my sponsorship
and switch back to TIER 4 visa and continue as student.

COULD YOU PLEASE HELP me this question and will be very grateful for suggestion!!

thanks

If I were you I would look for a permanent Tier 2 role. It now seems to be much easier that in used to.
