Tier 2 Depedent Visa Help Please!!

Hi Guys,

I am working in UK for last one year on Tier 2 General visa. I got married 2 months back in Pakistan and now my wife is going to Join me and live with me. She is a Pakistani Citizen and maintain her own maintenance for last 6 months (£1000).

She got confused when she was applying for dependent visa on Visa4UK. Question is about type of visa, purpose of application and type of application:

PURPOSE OF APPLICATION: ?
TYPE OF VISA: ?
TYPE OF APPLICATION: ?

Also, what type of documents she need from me other then this?

Employment letter
My PASSPORT COPY
My BIOMETRICS CARD COPY
Marriage certificate
UK PRE-DEPARTURE TUBERCULOSIS DETECTION PROGRAMME MEDICAL CERTIFICATE

she needs to fill work> tier 2 general > tier 2 general partner.

U should send her a letter from employer detailing your work details, send bank statement (even though shouldnt be required as she is maintaining her own), passport and visa copies,
These docs are not required, but is better to be added to application. accommodation detail, proof of contact with wife like email, phone calls etc,

Also make sure u submit the nikah certificate from pak, which MUST be endorsed by Union council. This is very important. Other non-mandatory docs can be wedding pics,

Do you know if there is a requirement to submit original documents for bank statements, tenancy agreement , letter from employer etc or would scanned or photocopies suffice?

bank statements have to be orginal and are a requirement.
I would recommend to submit all docs original. Not submitting an extra doc is better than submitting a scanned copy
