Please help with calculation

Post by zubair_hr » Wed May 28, 2014 7:34 pm

I will soon be applying for my wife's ILR and want to understand whether Adequate Maintenance will cause any problem with my current financial situation. My wife is on old 2 yrs spouse visa.

I have one child who is 17 months old and my wife is over 25. I have included income related details are as below. Appreciate if anyone can help me with this. Also, explain how does the formula for Adequate Maintenance work? If I was to do this calculation on my own.

My gross annual income: £16993.00
Annual Bonus: £1000.00
My monthly salary after tax and deductions: £1197.00
Child benefit per monthly amount: £82.00
Child Tax Credit monthly amount: £210.00
Working Tax credit monthly amount: £39.00
Monthly Home Mortgage: £402.00
Monthly Council Tax: £101.00

Thank you in advance

Not sure which stick post you are referring to? As I'm not a very regular user of this forum and would really appreciate if any can help me with this.

Thanks
