Can T-2 Gen Main Applicant go for ILR without Dependent Aply

Hello Experts,

I am on Tier-2 Gen and eligible for ILR this month. I have a query regarding few things

1) As i have switched from Tier-2 ICT to Tier-2 GEN , Do i required Absence Letters from Previous employer? What if they are not providing that?

2) Can I apply for only my self for ILR alone and my Dependents can apply later on? Weather the Dependent Status will be still valid for them on Tier-2 Gen Dependent ?

3) My wife has changed the Name as per Marriage Certi and BRP is still on the old passport name so i guess we need to change it before she can apply for ILR as she is also eligble but looking at the that process timings thinking of aplying alone for ILR..

Any help in this is appreciated..
