Tier 2 ICT Cooling off period

Hi,

I am currently on ICT Tier 2 Long term. I am/will be in situation that I will have continuous employment in UK. I would like to know if it is possible to skip cooling period by going back to home country after 5 years period and come under ICT short term, and after a year go back again & come under ICT Long term?

I understand continuity of employment is speculative but am interested in knowing if this possible this way.

ICT LT to ICT ST --> Cool-off period applies; unless your ICT visa was granted under the rules in place before 6 April 2011.
