Tier 2 ICT Long term

Hi,

I am currently in the UK under Tier2 ICT short term visa which expires on Nov 2014. Is it possible for me go back to India by Sep 2014 and apply for Tier2 ICT LONG TERM visa immediately. Am I allowed to apply for this before my current visa expiry?

yes, with a new CoS (min. salary £41k or as per code of practice if higher)
Am I allowed to apply for this before my current visa expiry?
