Post by Giri45 » Thu Jun 19, 2014 6:34 pm

Dear Member,
I am on Tier 1 Gen Dependent Visa with restrictions ' Doctor as Training ' Valid until Jul 2015.

I have got a Job offer, Employer offered Sponsorship.. which is a training Job.

At the moment I am in UK..

If i have to apply for Tier 2 Visa... Can I apply within the UK.

Many thanks

No.
you will have to leave uk and apply from home country.
It will also reset your counter, and you will have to spend 5 years for ILR under current rules.

make sure the job is NQF level 6 unless it is in a shortage occupation and that you will get the appropriate salary for the job SOC code

Could you please exactly point out the ' Tier 2 guidance where it says to apply from outside the country'.

I mean specific lines in the guidance about the information

Regards,
