Sabbatical leave for Tier 2 ?

Quick question here for you guys. Can I take sabbatical leave (few months or 1 year) if holding Tier 2 - General visa?

Don't think so as Tier 2 is meant to be a continuous employment visa leaving aside annual leaves. I will leave it to the seniors to confirm.
