Passport for fresh application with UKBA

Hi All

I just cancelled my appeal last week friday, and have managed to secure a PEO at croydon on thursday for my tier 2 visa.
Problem is my passport is with the UKBA and they say i have to apply online online to get it back and it takes 10 working days.
I have no right of appeal since my withdrawal, so this is very confusing and my livelihood is on the line.
Any suggestions, your help would be greatly appreciated.
