COS and application from

Dear Moderators,

Can I complete my T2 general application form before I receive the COS?

This is because I need to book an appointment on the 15th of July and if I get the COS approval by 12th of July, I heard it is impossible to obtain an appointment in less than a week. I really need to get my visa urgently because my partner's contract expires on the 31st of July.

You would need to write or type(if online) the COS number in the application.
