Can invest in another business?

Hi All,

I am a new member in this forum. I received my T1E (PSW route with partner) in February 2014. Before applying visa we already had our separate LTD company (I was a director of my company and my partner was a director for his company) . But to avoid more complications we plan to apply through his company; so I became a director in his company.
Now as we have got our visa; we have to invest the money to the company in which we both are director (basically my partner's company).
My question is; as I also have a running business, can we invest in my company as well? Does my partner need to become a director of my company?
Can we invest £25k to his and £25K to my business?

u can invest in any business as long as that business nature as well as ur job role in that company will be at or above nvq level 4.

so u can invest in company/ies where you both are director and use it as investment fund at the time of extension.
