Tier 2 Visa - Joining date not matching COS Start date

Hi,
I have been assigned granted Tier 2 General visa for 3 years. My COS has start stated work date as 28/04/2014 but I will be traveling to UK (after completing my current notice period) on 12/10/2014. Will that be an issue? Does my sponsor has to update the start date somewhere?

I am in need of an answer for this too. My CoS date is July 24 but I will be flying to the UK Aug 23.

this is a non issue. Should not be problem.
If you really want to play safe, ask employer to add a note to cos (he cant amend the cos), to say that start date has been mututally agreed to be so and so.
