This is the format I got from my previous employer as a PDF letter

To Whom it May Concern
Dear Sir/Madam,
Re: XXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXX
This information is given in strict confidence.
I confirm that the above named was employed by XXXXXXX Ltd as XXXXXXXXXXXX from XXXXX to XXXXXX
Whilst in our employment he was on annual leave as per leave policy outlined in this contract on the following dates:
XXXXXX – XXXXXX
XXXXXX - XXXXXX
If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Hi Argus 7,

I am assuming you got your ILR without any issues with this format. I used the same format and got the letters from my previous employers. But i am wondering if the word "paid" has to be mentioned in the letter?

please advise.
