British Passport Application Parents Details

Hi,

I am filling british passport application. I got my citizenship through naturalisation. My parents were born outside UK. I am born abroad after 1 Jan, 1983.

In section 4, do I have to write down the parents details along with grandparents details.

Also, do I have to submit any supporting documents related to parents and grandparents.

It is quite confusing.

Write your parents details and if there is something you don't know, just write 'details unknown'.

You don't need to provide grandparent details.

You do not have to provide supporting documents for parents or grandparents.
