Medium of Instruction letter in English

Hi All,
I have received a letter from my college saying the date I passed, the degree awarded and the the medium of instruction in which the degree was taught was in english. I have following queries:

1) Do I need to get a letter from my University or the letter from college will do.
2) I was also planning to give IELTS but the dates till Sep seems to be full in all test centres.

Kindly suggest.

You need to get the letter from the university,not from the college.

And dont bother about IELTS if you can get the univ. letter.

I got my HSMP approval by submitting just the letter from my college. But as I did not want to take any chances, I have supplied the letter from University too while applying for EC.

Still waiting to hear from BHC.

Any body here can explain how to get from Mangalore university and MIT Manipal ?
Do they provide it if we request them through email / phone ?

Please suggest.

Can any one tell me whether is it okay to submitt a certificate or letter from College stating that the medium of Studies was English during my four years of study in college.
My University is not giving out such certificates.
If i submitt this letter from college for HSMP, i am afraid whether i would get rejected or not...... please suggest......

letter from college is not sufficient. u need a letter from ur university (awarding institution). every university gives this letter, if they r refusing to give it show them the hsmp guidance which clearly states this point.
