Name spelt incorrectly in new PIO card - 4 weeks to travel

Name spelt incorrectly in new PIO card - 4 weeks to travel

Hi,
My mum applied for her PIO card on 19th Jun 2014 and received her PIO card on 3rd Jul.
Everything looks fine except, they misspelled her first name on the front page of the card. On the back page they got it right.
she has to travel back to India on 10 August.
I tried calling them in vain.... sent emails without any reply.

1) So can She travel with this typo ?

2) What is the procedure for fixing it ?

Any help/guidance would be much appreciated.

i can't believe the amount of mistakes they make on peoples legal documents! its unreal! i've sent my passport off for the OCI card and i hope i don't have to go through these unprofessional silly mistakes!

Found you a link which might be able to help you... id suggest ringing them or emailing the ASAP with the issue.
